IRGS members can continue to renew their annual dues by check, either by mailing it or bringing it to a monthly meeting. But now, those who wish to renew their membership using PayPal can do so online by following these instructions.
Step 1: Login to your account on IRGS.org, then select the Profile option from the top menu.
The top part of your profile page will display current information - your membership plan and membership expiration date - for reference.
Note that you can only renew using the same plan as your current one. If you wish to renew under a different plan, you’ll need to check with membership@IRGS.org for instructions.
Step 2: Click on Payments in the black panel on the left side of the screen.
That will display a form like the sample shown above.
Step 3: Use this form to set the renewal options.
On the left will be the new membership Expiration Date, effective after the payment is made. The Expiration Date and Amount Paid fields will be automatically set by the website based on the value you select for Renewal Years, which defaults to a 1-year renewal. You can extend the period to 2 years by clicking in the field and selecting 2. Optionally, you can add a donation to your renewal payment by clicking on the word Donation then entering the amount. If you add a donation, a new field Comment will automatically appear so that you can direct your donation to a specific area or fund.
Step 4: Click the blue Renewal button to log into PayPal and make the payment.
