Surname Research moved to Members Only

It was discovered that Surname Research now requires that a person be logged into the website to communicate via Surname Research. After verifying this new requirement with our website provider, it was moved to Members Only. At the same time, some of the Members Only items were rearranged into logical groupings. See the Navigation Quick Map under Tips / Website Navigation in the Main Menu for the updated menu layout.

"What's New" added to Tips

This page was added to provide a quick and convenient way for users to see what has been recently added or moved on the IRGS website.

GenSoc Soup Webinars added to Members Only

IRGS is a subscribing member of Thomas MacEntee's GenSoc Soup. This entitles our member to view the informational webinars that Thomas has created especially for that offering. These webinars and associated handouts can be found in our Members Only area (as shown below) and can be viewed on-demand and as often as you wish.

Martha Dodd Scholarship

Once IRGS decided to "retire" the Martha Dodd Scholarship, the page devoted to it was changed to reflect that change. The application form was removed and more information was added about the history of the award, including past scholarship winners.

IRGS Photo Album added to Members Only

With the new website, we have the ability to include photos of society events. Check it out!
