What are GIGs?

Genealogy Interest Groups are people who come together with a common interest. There are nationality groups - they share information and research tips and study together to find their ancestors.  In addition, there are other groups that focus on a specific topic such as the Writing GIG, that helps you to write your family history.  Familytree Maker and Roots Magic GIGs to increase your proficiency with these software products. The DNA GIG is for those interested in finding genetic matches. Methods and Resources examines various sources of informtion.  The Hole in the Wall GIG is for helping one another begin to demolish that brick wall in our research.
