What are GIGs?

Genealogy Interest Groups are people who come together with a common interest. There are nationality groups - they share information and research tips and study together to find their ancestors.  In addition, there are other groups that focus on a specific topic such as the Family Tree Maker GIG and the Roots Magic GIGto increase your proficiency with these software products.
